# Bible Scribe vs ThyWord

The clearest difference is rating: ThyWord at 4.9 against Bible Scribe's 1.0. ThyWord also leads on ratings volume (104 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17). Bible Scribe's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Scribe sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and ThyWord sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThyWord holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ThyWord has 104 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
