# BuffMeter vs Luff

The clearest difference is update cadence: BuffMeter at every 4 days against Luff's fortnightly. BuffMeter also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BuffMeter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Luff sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BuffMeter ships an update every 4 days, Luff fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
