# Now vs LiTeX

Both are free to download. Now sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. LiTeX asks for nothing beyond the download.

Now ships an update weekly, LiTeX every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
