# Shell Identifier vs Crab Identifier

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Shell Identifier at 15.0 against Crab Identifier's 18. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shell Identifier sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Crab Identifier sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
