# DiveCore vs DWZ

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DWZ at none against DiveCore's 3. DWZ also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). DiveCore's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DiveCore sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. DWZ asks for nothing beyond the download.

DiveCore ships an update every 4 days, DWZ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
