# ShellSnap vs Shell ID

The clearest difference is device support: ShellSnap at 3 against Shell ID's 1. ShellSnap also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShellSnap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Shell ID sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
