# AFK vs 9Remote

The clearest difference is update cadence: 9Remote at every 3 days against AFK's fortnightly. 9Remote also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AFK ships an update fortnightly, 9Remote every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
