# Apextale vs TwistShort

The clearest difference is ads: TwistShort at none against Apextale's shown. TwistShort also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apextale sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and TwistShort sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $10.95 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
