# Tidam vs Avar.me

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Avar.me at none against Tidam's 1. Tidam's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tidam sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Avar.me asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tidam against 5.0 for Avar.me. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tidam has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
