# JikuDeck vs Snipnote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Snipnote at every 3 weeks against JikuDeck's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JikuDeck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Snipnote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JikuDeck ships an update every 7 months, Snipnote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
