# Flexi vs Macromate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Macromate at every 2 days against Flexi's weekly. Flexi's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flexi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Macromate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flexi ships an update weekly, Macromate every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
