# TipJoy vs Tip'd

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tip'd at daily against TipJoy's fortnightly. TipJoy's advantage is ratings volume (64 vs 5). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TipJoy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Tip'd sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for TipJoy against 5.0 for Tip'd. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TipJoy has 64 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

TipJoy ships an update fortnightly, Tip'd daily. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
