# CivvyMode vs SubTasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: SubTasks at every 9 days against CivvyMode's monthly. CivvyMode's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CivvyMode sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SubTasks sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CivvyMode ships an update monthly, SubTasks every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
