# Friction vs Scrollift

Friction and Scrollift both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Scrollift's written reviews are positive against 23% of Friction's. Friction's advantage is ratings volume (327 vs 17). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Friction sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Scrollift sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Friction against 4.6 for Scrollift. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Friction has 327 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 23% of Friction's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scrollift's.

Friction ships an update every 6 days, Scrollift every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
