# WoofTrak vs Pupstep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pupstep at weekly against WoofTrak's monthly. WoofTrak's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WoofTrak sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Pupstep sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WoofTrak ships an update monthly, Pupstep weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
