# WoofTrak vs Pupstep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pupstep at every 2 weeks against WoofTrak's monthly. WoofTrak's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WoofTrak sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Pupstep sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WoofTrak ships an update monthly, Pupstep every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
