# NextSet vs Inchworm

The clearest difference is update cadence: Inchworm at every 2 days against NextSet's every 3 weeks. NextSet's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextSet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Inchworm sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NextSet against 5.0 for Inchworm. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextSet has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NextSet ships an update every 3 weeks, Inchworm every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
