# QuitMode vs Pacecast

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pacecast at every 9 days against QuitMode's every 3 months. QuitMode's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuitMode sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Pacecast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QuitMode ships an update every 3 months, Pacecast every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
