# QuitMode vs Puff Drop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Puff Drop at every 4 weeks against QuitMode's every 3 months. QuitMode's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuitMode sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Puff Drop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QuitMode ships an update every 3 months, Puff Drop every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
