Omnivore has tools for working with your games, not just answering questions. • Find the texture behind something on screen, preview it, recolor it or paint new details. • Transfer textures and patterns between games in your library. • Stack texture edits, undo changes, and save them as mods you can switch on and off. Your original game files stay intact. • Create and manage native cheats and Wii U graphic packs. • Work with supported game archives, models, materials, animations and game data in a Fin Mod project. • Use game screenshots and controls to help check a change, adjust settings or get help while playing. Omnivore requires Premium, age 18 or over, and a separate supported AI account. Available tools depend on the game, console and provider. TEXTURES AND UP TO 4K Upscale Studio raises rendering resolution up to 4K and enhances textures. Load replacement texture packs or make your own. Texture dumping is free; supported Wii U textures can be extracted without launching the game. Premium also extracts music and videos from supported games. Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Fin at Free against JarBox's $0.99. Fin also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (504 vs 1). JarBox's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 62%) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Fin is free to download; JarBox costs $0.99 up front. Fin sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.59 per month. JarBox asks for nothing beyond the download.
Fin holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fin has 504 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Fin's written reviews are positive against 100% of JarBox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Fin ships an update every 2 weeks, JarBox every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
