# Iris vs o3IPTV

The clearest difference is monetization model: Iris at free against o3IPTV's freemium. o3IPTV's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iris sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and o3IPTV sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Iris against 5.0 for o3IPTV. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively.

Iris ships an update fortnightly, o3IPTV every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
