# Iris vs SmartRacePlayer

The clearest difference is update cadence: SmartRacePlayer at weekly against Iris's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iris sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SmartRacePlayer sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Iris ships an update fortnightly, SmartRacePlayer weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
