# Iris vs ND PLAYER

The clearest difference is ads: Iris at none against ND PLAYER's shown. ND PLAYER's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iris sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ND PLAYER sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Iris ships an update fortnightly, ND PLAYER every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
