# Tally vs Parameter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tally at none against Parameter's 1. Tally also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Parameter's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parameter sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.00 per month. Tally asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tally ships an update every 9 days, Parameter every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
