# My Sides vs Pressed Petals

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pressed Petals at every 2 weeks against My Sides's every 6 months. Pressed Petals also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Sides sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pressed Petals sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Sides ships an update every 6 months, Pressed Petals every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
