# Locked In vs Reminder Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Reminder Planner at 5.0 against Locked In's 4.8. Locked In's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locked In sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Reminder Planner sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reminder Planner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Locked In has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Locked In ships an update every 2 weeks, Reminder Planner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
