# Synap.ing vs Current

The clearest difference is update cadence: Synap.ing at every 2 days against Current's every 2 weeks. Synap.ing also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Current's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Synap.ing sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Current sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
