# Instant Backing Track vs Chord Invaders

The clearest difference is update cadence: Instant Backing Track at every 2 days against Chord Invaders's every 4 days. Chord Invaders's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Instant Backing Track sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chord Invaders sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Instant Backing Track ships an update every 2 days, Chord Invaders every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
