# Glassy Comics vs Chonky

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chonky at every 5 days against Glassy Comics's every 2 weeks. Chonky also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Glassy Comics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chonky sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Glassy Comics ships an update every 2 weeks, Chonky every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
