# Shippy vs WhereIsIt

The clearest difference is update cadence: WhereIsIt at every 4 days against Shippy's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shippy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year and WhereIsIt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shippy ships an update every 3 months, WhereIsIt every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
