# Vox.md vs GoodNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vox.md at every 3 days against GoodNote's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vox.md sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and GoodNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vox.md ships an update every 3 days, GoodNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
