# Modex vs Scroll

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scroll at every 5 days against Modex's fortnightly. On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Modex sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Scroll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Modex against 5.0 for Scroll. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 4 respectively.

Modex ships an update fortnightly, Scroll every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
