# Illusion Connect vs Mori Tale

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mori Tale at every 5 days against Illusion Connect's every 3 weeks. Mori Tale also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Illusion Connect's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 280). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Illusion Connect sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Mori Tale sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Illusion Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.2K and 280 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Illusion Connect's written reviews are positive against 74% of Mori Tale's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Illusion Connect ships an update every 3 weeks, Mori Tale every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
