# Nirvan vs Untangle

The clearest difference is ads: Nirvan at none against Untangle's shown. Nirvan also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Untangle's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nirvan sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Untangle sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nirvan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Untangle has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
