TempoUp is a 3-in-1 practice companion for guitar, bass, ukulele and other string players: a pro metronome, a chromatic tuner and a fretboard scale map that plays every note you tap. One app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. ■ Precise Metronome • 1–500 BPM, set the tempo with the dial or tap it in, with Italian tempo markings • Any time signature: 1–16 beats over 2, 4, 8 or 16 • Four accent levels per beat, so 7/8 = 2+2+3 and other compound grooves take seconds to set up • Subdivisions: eighths, sixteenths, triplets, quintuplets, sextuplets, dotted and syncopated • 20 percussion sounds: classic mechanical, woodblock, cowbell, snare, conga, cajón, shaker and more • Multiple visual themes • Keeps ticking in the background and on the lock screen; time and bar counters show how much you've practiced • Presets & setlists: each song saves tempo, time signature, accents and sound, so you can switch songs in one tap at rehearsal or on stage • Rhythm training: alternate playing and muted bars, or mute at random, to test your inner clock • Vibration, screen flash and flashlight follow the beat, so you can see and feel it even in a loud room (vibration and flashlight on iPhone only) ■ Pro Tuner • Chromatic auto-detection with cent-accurate readout • 14 instruments: 6/7/12-string guitar, 4/5-string bass, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, balalaika, cavaquinho, violin, viola, cello • Dozens of tunings: Standard, Drop D, DADGAD, Half-Step Down, Open G and more • Reference pitch adjustable from 416 to 466 Hz, with playable reference tones to tune by ear ■ Fretboard Scales • Fretboards for guitar, bass, ukulele, violin and more, sharing instrument and tuning with the tuner • 12 scales and modes highlighted: Major, Natural / Harmonic / Melodic Minor, Major and Minor Pentatonic, Blues, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Locrian • Tap to hear any note, with slides and bends; root notes stand out • Sharp/flat note names, left-handed mirror, up to 24 frets ■ Speed Trainer • Set a start tempo, target tempo, step and bar count, and the metronome speeds up automatically • Starts after a count-in; review your practice history anytime ■ Fretboard Note Trainer • Single-note drills: play the note shown on screen anywhere on the neck • Interval drills: find the note a given interval above the root, from a minor 2nd to a major 13th • The microphone checks every answer; set the session length and pick the intervals to practice • More practice modes on the way ■ Fully Offline, Privacy First No account, no data collection, no ads. ■ TempoUp Pro The free version includes the full metronome, tuner and core fretboard features. Pro unlocks Speed Trainer, Presets & Setlists, Count-in Bars, Rhythm Training, Vibration / Screen Flash / Flashlight beat cues, Sound Selection, Subdivision Rhythms, Set Reference Pitch and Chromatic Mode for the tuner, More Instrument Tunings, Advanced Scales & Modes, Fretboard Note Trainer, plus every future Pro feature.
