# PackKit vs AutoTrips

The clearest difference is update cadence: AutoTrips at fortnightly against PackKit's every 5 weeks. PackKit's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PackKit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and AutoTrips sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PackKit ships an update every 5 weeks, AutoTrips fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
