# Tiny Steps vs Gistr

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gistr at every 3 weeks against Tiny Steps's every 5 months. Gistr also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiny Steps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Gistr sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tiny Steps ships an update every 5 months, Gistr every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
