# Readr vs Rivro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Readr at weekly against Rivro's every 2 months. Rivro's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Rivro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readr ships an update weekly, Rivro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
