# Note Hoard vs Jot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jot at every 2 weeks against Note Hoard's every 6 weeks. Note Hoard's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Hoard sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month and Jot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note Hoard ships an update every 6 weeks, Jot every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
