# Shadow Work vs Shadow Work Journal

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Shadow Work at 23 against Shadow Work Journal's 4. On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shadow Work sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Shadow Work Journal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Shadow Work against 5.0 for Shadow Work Journal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shadow Work has 23 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
