# Diary Lock vs Focusin Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Focusin Pro at 5.0 against Diary Lock's 3.8. Focusin Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown). Diary Lock's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary Lock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Focusin Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focusin Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diary Lock has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Diary Lock ships an update every 2 weeks, Focusin Pro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
