# ComicPad vs ComicKit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ComicPad at 100% against ComicKit's 0%. ComicKit's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ComicPad sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ComicKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ComicKit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of ComicPad's written reviews are positive against 0% of ComicKit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ComicPad ships an update every 3 weeks, ComicKit weekly. The most recent releases landed on July 8, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
