# SaneSales vs cashBASIC

The clearest difference is update cadence: cashBASIC at every 5 days against SaneSales's fortnightly. SaneSales's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SaneSales sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and cashBASIC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SaneSales ships an update fortnightly, cashBASIC every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
