# AutoFocusCam vs Subtext

The clearest difference is update cadence: AutoFocusCam at every 3 days against Subtext's monthly. AutoFocusCam also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AutoFocusCam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $119.99 per month and Subtext sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AutoFocusCam ships an update every 3 days, Subtext monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
