# Cyber Mech vs Brobuddy

The clearest difference is rating: Cyber Mech at 5.0 against Brobuddy's 4.5. Brobuddy's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cyber Mech sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Brobuddy sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cyber Mech holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brobuddy has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cyber Mech ships an update weekly, Brobuddy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
