# Sky Widgets vs Drone Scout

The clearest difference is update cadence: Drone Scout at weekly against Sky Widgets's every 2 weeks. Drone Scout also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sky Widgets sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $79.00 per year and Drone Scout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
