# Wool Loop vs Comet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Comet at every 3 weeks against Wool Loop's every 2 months. Wool Loop's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wool Loop sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Comet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wool Loop ships an update every 2 months, Comet every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
