# HallPass EDU vs WhoLeft

The clearest difference is update cadence: HallPass EDU at every 3 weeks against WhoLeft's every 3 months. WhoLeft's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HallPass EDU sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and WhoLeft sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HallPass EDU ships an update every 3 weeks, WhoLeft every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
