# BionicFit vs SaltStack

The clearest difference is update cadence: BionicFit at every 3 days against SaltStack's every 3 weeks. BionicFit also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BionicFit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year and SaltStack sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BionicFit ships an update every 3 days, SaltStack every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
