# Video Summary vs YT Notes

The clearest difference is ads: Video Summary at none against YT Notes's shown. YT Notes's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Summary sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and YT Notes sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
